Pastor Beverley Henry... God Is Able Fellowship Inc.

A Profile of Her Life and Her Work

Pastor Beverley Henry is a native Western Kingston Jamaica, West Indies She attended Denham Town Senior School in western Kingston and won a scholarship to Buxton High School, then went on to Queen's Wood College in the Medical Field. Her first job was at Princess Margaret Hospital in St. Thomas and transfer to Kingston Public Hospital, Pastor Beverley Henry came to the United States in 1976, and continued in the medical field in a hospital in New York City for over 30 years. Pastor Beverley Henry gave her life to the Lord on December 18, 1983 and has been on the move for Jesus ever since. She attended Bible School Ministry where she was ordained as an Evangelist the Lord called her to spread the gospel wherever there was a need and she has traveled to Toronto Canada; her home town, Kingston Jamaica West Indies; U.S. prisons, hospitals feed the homeless, and visit nursing homes. When ever Pastor Henry found lost souls she would minister to them doing as the Lord asked of her. Pastor Henry went on to Bible College where she was instructed by the Holy Spirit, she was ordained and Licensed as a Pastor, the Lord gave her this ministry by the name of God is Able Fellowship Inc .Pastor Beverley Henry was homeless at one time this is why she don't have a problem helping people, she worked with the men in prison helping them get their college degrees, she brings foods to the prison traveling 6 to 7 hours on the bus. Pastor Henry opened up her phone line for the men so they can call for prayers and speak to their family with her own money also sending Bible Studies sheets through the mail. Pastor Henry helps with Re-Entry letters for those going before the Board for their release. She is assigned to prisons in different locations and even travels to Albany NY to speak with Congress along with other leaders, asking for help for the men in prisons she also use to work on Voices of Praise Radio 88.9fm in Brooklyn. Pastor Beverley Henry lost a son he was gunned down in the street right after Mother's Day May 11th,1999,she wanted to make a different so she went to the street with the gospel. Some of these young men that use to hung out on the streets went back to school and got their life's back on tracks Pastor Henry is a wonderful Anointed woman of God her prayer life has enhanced significantly, and she has evolved into a prayer warrior; then increasing more into a prayer intercessor whom God uses tremendously for His Kingdom. Pastor Henry has the gifts of discerning of spirits she knows when someone is fake and can see through you, she don't have to meet you to know your deeds. Pastor Henry is so humble and quiet very soft spoken but don't mind giving you some tough love, Some of the men call her Mother Love. We salute Pastor Beverley Henry for the great work that she is doing, we respect her so much, and love her we the men that are in prison are happy to have her in our lives and we pray God's Blessing upon her life, even when our own families did not care about us and did not believe in us, she told us we can be what God want us to be in life." Pastor Beverley Henry always has a smile on her face, she helps us willingly and she is patient with us" said one man in prison we know it is coming from Pastor Henry heart we appreciate you, Pastor Beverley Henry received the commissioned ordination certificate for Pastor of intercessory prayer from Bishop Alfred Phillips and was given the opportunity to tell her story in the Gleaner and Star newspaper. Pastor Henry has a strong determination to spread the gospel and witness to souls, she truly loves what she does.
